Beautiful Bremer Bay

Bremer Bay was a 60km detour off the main coastal highway, but upon arrival and an initial explore on our bikes, we deemed that the detour had definitely been worth it. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon and we had fun riding our bikes on Bremer Beach across the wet sand. We then found a lovely track that wound along the estuary and back into town. Much to Sippy’s delight we came upon the Bremer Bay Brewery, so we stopped in for a taste test of their Citra Pale Ale (not really to either of our liking).

Day Two we headed off to explore the local beaches and bays, every one of them sensational. We toured Little Boat Harbour, Native Dog Beach, Blossom’s Beach and Short Beach. All had pristine, white sand and turquoise blue water. Back at the BT we grabbed some lunch and then it was back on the bikes to explore a little further. We ended up at the town lookout, which afforded a great view back along Bremer Beach. We rode around the wind turbine up on the hill, which provides 40% of the town’s energy before heading back to the BT for a BBQ dinner.
